Presenting Sam I Am, a special run model that Breyer produced years ago. He is a beautiful bay overo, done on the traditional stock horse stallion mold. He represents a real Paint overo stallion, foaled in 1982, owned by Bev Henderson.
Most of this special run was distributed in 1984 at tack stores and special events w Sam I Am made a personal appearance. Sam I Am's owner kept the undistributed models.
18 years later, Bev Henderson brought the undistributed models to BreyerFest in 2002. Attached to the original boxes were gold foil stickers with the words "SPECIAL EDITION, Sam I Am & Co. 20th Birthday Release" stamped on them.
