Pretty but poorly made.

When I opened the package and saw these chinks, I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty they were. They seemed solid and I held on to hope that they wouldn't fall apart. Nope! I wasn't even done with my first class, when I felt the leg strap snap off. Then when I dismounted for a bit check, conchos popped off. I was SO embarrassed. Do not buy these. If only they were as functional as they were pretty!

Don't buy these! They fell apart before I even entered the show arena!

These chinks looked really good when they arrived, but when I wore them for the first time at a show this past Saturday, they fell apart before I even made it into the arena. Two brads and one concho fell off the right leg, and one brad fell off the left leg (meaning the straps came undone on both legs) all disappearing into the deep sand in the warm up arena. I had to take them off and didn't even get to wear them in one class. They are evidently cheaply made, and I expect Henderson's Western Store to give me a full refund.
They were a little big when they arrived, and I had a professional alterations person put some holes in the suede strap that goes across your back since I intended to keep them. The horrible problem with the brads falling out and concho falling off, rendering them unusable, has nothing to do with the back strap. I was so disappointed.
